MEMBERSHIP

Membership is open to anybody associated with Monarch Airlines. All enquiries are very welcome.
At present, the Club is directly funded by its members on an 'as needs' basis and the equipment is privately owned
Depending on how the Club develops, it is intended in due course to establish more formal funding arrangements.

All members are strongly recommended to take out membership of British Rowing (formerly the ARA), which includes a level of insurance cover. Prices start at £25 per annum. For anybody wishing to compete in UK rowing events, a race licence is mandatory and is included in the 'gold' level of BR membership (£50). Anybody living in the Northampton area might also wish to consider membership of our host club, the Northampton Rowing Club, which can provide a complete range of boats, training equipment, and coaching, as well as regular sessions weekly and all the benefits of a large established club.

Those living further afield, but also wishing to row on a more regular basis, can find their local club via the British Rowing 'club finder'. Most clubs also provide courses for beginners.
